Let me start by saying "thank you" to members of the
sportsclub for this special honour as your new president.
I am honoured by your presence and votes tonight.

I planned for this year to be exciting, challenging, and the
success of our sports activities will be tremendous.

Your contribution to the funds will be managed effectively.

To wrap up the speech, I want to reiterate that as the incoming
Sports Club President, I promise that I will meet all your
expectations and I won't let you down.

Let me finish with two quotes:
Firstly, united we stand, divided we fall.
Secondly, a bundle of sticks is much harder to break
than a collection of sticks.

Ladies and gentlemen, thank you very much, I hope
